Electrical Apprentice

Ride with ticketed electricians on a service book. Hours, school support, and a van that already has work on the board.

The work

  • Assist on service calls and installs across Greater Vancouver.
  • Keep materials straight, pull wire, and learn the diagnostic side, not only the labour.
  • Show up on time and treat the house like it is not a jobsite trailer.
  • Log hours properly so your apprenticeship actually moves.

You need

  • Registered (or ready to register) in the BC electrical apprenticeship.
  • Valid BC driver's licence preferred.
  • A year of construction or service work is useful. First-year applicants with a serious attitude will still be read.

Useful, not required

  • Your own basic hand tools.
  • Any completed technical training blocks.

What you get

  • Hours toward your ticket on real service work.
  • School block support that does not treat you like a temp.
  • A path onto a company van once you can run a call.
